Will the AI break my website's design?
The AI is explicitly instructed to preserve all CSS classes, IDs, inline styles, and existing markup structure. Fixes are surgical — adding alt attributes, aria-labels, semantic tags, fixing heading hierarchy. Your design system stays intact. And every audit creates a .bak backup before any changes, so if you don't like the result, restore is one click.
Why do I need my own API key?
This keeps the price low and predictable. We charge $29.99/mo for access to the platform, the SSH plumbing, the diff viewer, and the safe-deploy tooling. You pay Google or Anthropic directly for AI usage — usually a few cents per page. No markup, no surprise bills from us if you audit your whole site.
Is my server password safe?
SSH credentials live only in your browser session. They're sent to our server in-memory for each request and never written to disk, never logged, never persisted. Close the tab and they're gone. We strongly recommend using SSH key auth (also supported) — the form has a Password ↔ Private Key toggle.
Does it cover all WCAG 2.1 AA violations?
The AI targets the most common and impactful violations: missing alt text, missing/incorrect ARIA labels, broken heading hierarchy, color-contrast issues, missing form labels, keyboard navigation gaps, and semantic-tag misuse. Edge cases (like complex JS interactions or media transcripts) still need human review — that's why every fix shows you a visual diff before you deploy.
What if a fix introduces a bug?
Three layers of protection. (1) Preview mode (default) saves the AI's draft as filename.html.ada-fixed next to your original — nothing is overwritten. (2) Visual side-by-side diff before deploy — see exactly what changed. (3) Automatic .bak backup of the live file before any deploy, with a one-click "Restore from .bak" button at any time.
Can I cancel anytime? Are there refunds or prorated charges?
Yes, cancel anytime — and no, no refunds or prorations. If you cancel on day 3 of the billing period or day 28, you are charged for the full month and your access continues until the period closes. After that the subscription stops auto-renewing.
DIY subscribers ($29.99/mo): click Manage subscription or Cancel subscription inside the tool. The Manage button opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel, update your card, or download invoices.
DFY subscribers ($299/mo): click the Manage your subscription link in any Stripe receipt or renewal email — same portal, same self-service cancellation.
Either way: you can resume any time before the period ends to undo a pending cancellation.
Does this guarantee legal compliance?
No. ADA / WCAG compliance is a legal determination that depends on context, intent, and how the site is actually used.
